Viajeβs Bird On A Branch cigars will be available to retailers next week, adding a new offering to the cigar market. βYou never know when or where inspiration will strike,β says Andre Farkas of Viaje Cigars. This particular inspiration came from a drawing of a parrot made by his son when he was five years old. As a result, Farkas decided to create Bird on a Branch, a two-size line made at Aganorsa Leaf in Nicaragua.
These cigars are composed of Nicaraguan filler, two Nicaraguan Corojo β99 binders from Jalapa, and an Ecuador Habano wrapper. They come in two sizes: Pajaro, which measures 6 inches by 50 ring gauge, and Pajarito, a robusto measuring 5 inches by 50 ring gauge. Both sizes are packaged in 34-count boxes that retail for $408 each, or $12 per cigar.
Farkas notes that the cigars were aged for nine months before their release. They will start shipping on July 29th, marking Viajeβs first brand under its new Private Bale series. This release signifies a fresh addition to Viajeβs portfolio, showcasing the brand’s commitment to innovation and quality.
