PadrΓ³n Cigars is making a small but noticeable change to the bands on its PadrΓ³n 1964 Anniversary Series, Serie 1926, and DΓ‘maso Series cigars. Some of these cigars have already reached the market as the company gradually introduces the new design.
Many of PadrΓ³nβs top-tier cigars have dual bands. One overlays the other, with the bottom band showing an assortment of numbers. The company is phasing out this type of band and replacing it with a single, one-piece band. This new band incorporates elements of both designs.

βWe made a design change, so now the bands are integrated,β says Jorge PadrΓ³n, president of the company.
The Family Reserve Series will also switch to using a single, integrated band, but this change will take some time.
βItβs going to be gradual,β says PadrΓ³n.
Special releases like the 90th, 80th, 45th, and others with a secondary band will keep their secondary band.
