A Journey with PCA:
- Initial Role: Habursky joined the PCA in 2018 as an outside government affairs consultant.
- Career Progression: He took on multiple roles, including deputy executive director. After Scott Pearce left in April, Habursky became the interim executive director.
Scott Regina, president of the PCA board of directors, expressed confidence in Habursky’s leadership: βFor the past five years, we have worked effectively with Josh to accomplish the associationβs advocacy goals. We are confident in his ability to run the full association moving forward.β
New Responsibilities:
- Dual Role: Habursky will continue his work as the chief lobbyist for the PCA while also managing internal staff and collaborating with the PCAβs team of consultants.
- Future Plans: The PCA will implement a new five-year strategic plan and add new hires to support the annual trade show. Habursky’s contract as executive director extends through 2028.
Habursky shared his enthusiasm: βI am honored and excited to lead the Premium Cigar Association into its next chapter. I am fortunate to work alongside a phenomenal staff and experienced board of directors.β
With Habursky at the helm, the PCA is poised for growth and success, driven by a strategic vision and a dedicated team.
