A La Gloria Cubana with a Personal Touch

When cigar enthusiasts browse their local tobacconist’s shelves, they seldom know much about the skilled artisans behind their favorite smokes. Scandinavian Tobacco Group aims to change that with its new limited-edition La Gloria Cubana cigar, which highlights the craftsmanship of the rollers. The La Gloria Cubana Gran Legado, which began shipping to retailers earlier this month, includes the signatures of the individuals who rolled each cigar.

β€œLa Gloria Cubana Gran Legado confirms that our people matter as much as our tobacco. These artisans are family, and we work together to make each high-quality cigar with pride and passion,” says La Gloria Cubana brand manager Corey Beardsley.

Craftsmanship and Quality

At El Credito, a gallery within the General Cigar Dominicana factory in the Dominican Republic, skilled rollers craft Gran Legado cigars. These artisans, each with at least 15 years of experience, ensure exceptional quality. This limited-edition cigar comes in a single size: a double-tapered Perfecto measuring an impressive 7 1/4 inches (184 mm) long by 62 ring gauge. It has a suggested retail price of $14.99 each. The blend offers a medium- to full-bodied experience, featuring a dark Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and a mix of Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers.

Celebrating the Artisans

Each 10-count box features a photo of two pairs of handsβ€”a buncher’s and a roller’sβ€”working together to craft a cigar. This homage highlights the importance of their skill and dedication. With only 1,900 boxes being released, the Gran Legado is a truly exclusive offering.

La Gloria Cubana Gran Legado is distributed by Forged Cigar Co., a subsidiary of Scandinavian Tobacco Group.

This release not only brings a unique cigar to the market but also shines a spotlight on the artisans whose expertise and passion shape every smoke. Whether you’re a longtime fan of La Gloria Cubana or new to the brand, the Gran Legado offers a rich, personal touch that celebrates the hands behind the craft.
