Habanos introduced the 2024 EdiciΓ³n Limitada, Trinidad Cabildos Premier Pack, at the Habanos World Days Gala Dinner on June 22, 2024, in London. This exclusive release is now available solely within the United Kingdom and will not be released in other markets.
Limited Availability and Unique Features
Habanos has produced only 10,000 numbered packs. Each pack contains five Cabildos cigars, resulting in a total of 50,000 cigars. This Premier Pack follows the successful launch of the Cohiba 55 Aniversario in 2021.
The Trinidad Cabildos measures 6 β inches (162mm) with a 46 ring gauge. Known as an Ilustres in Cuban factories, this unique size within the Habanos portfolio features a distinct ‘Premier 2024’ EdiciΓ³n Limitada band and a footband commemorating Trinidadβs 55th anniversary.
Historical Context and Anticipated Release
This release marks the fourth EdiciΓ³n Limitada from the Trinidad brand. Previous releases include Ingenios (2007), Short Robusto T (2010), and Topes (2016). Enthusiasts can expect boxes of 12 Cabildos to go on general worldwide sale in approximately six months.
Craftsmanship and Quality
Artisans have meticulously handmade these cigars using long filler leaves. All leaves are sourced from the renowned Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba and aged for a minimum of two years. This aging process ensures a premium smoking experience.
